Carroll County Community Foundation was established in 2001 by local community leaders who saw an opportunity to provide permanent sources of charitable funding for nonprofits who work in and for the people of our area.

One of 28 affiliates of Arkansas Community Foundation, Carroll County Community Foundation has provided over $1 million in grants throughout our 18 years of service. These grants support programs that respond to critical needs, such as food insecurity and medical issues, as well as programs that sustain and enrich, like the arts and education.
We encourage smart giving to improve our neighborhoods, towns and rural communities now and forever and proudly work with charitable donors to customize their own funds and endowments. We also maintain a connection with local nonprofits which helps us understand their needs and the local issues.

Grant Cycles
Fall – Giving Tree Grant Cycle opens July 10 with a deadline of Aug. 15. All 501c3 nonprofits, schools, churches, hospitals or government agencies that work in and for Carroll County are encouraged to apply. Grants during this cycle range from $300 to $3000. To learn more about our Fall grant cycle and make sure that your submissions are what we are looking for, email carrollcounty@arcf.org.
Spring – YAC (Youth Advisory Council) Giving Tree Grant Cycle opens Jan. 10 and ends Feb. 15. Grants during this cycle are specific to programs that support youth and children of Carroll County. All 501c3 nonprofits, schools, churches, hospitals or government agencies that meet this specific requirement are encouraged to apply. Grant range is from $100 to $1000. Arkansas students pursuing higher education at two- or four-year colleges or universities, vocational schools, or technical training programs can apply for more than 200 private scholarships.
Funding for these scholarships comes from families, businesses and individuals who want to support higher education and invest in local students. Theses donors determine the size and eligibility criteria for the scholarships they create, and the Foundation manages the scholarship process on their behalf.
